We are excited to offer this special initiative in partnership with local food banks across Canada, providing gifts at no cost to children who are part of these food bank communities. Below, you will find detailed information about how the program works, including the purchasing and pickup processes, as well as the program rules.

Overview

Dayra aims to bring joy to children up to 12 years old by providing free toys through a voucher system obtained from your local food bank. This initiative is designed to make the gift-giving process simple and accessible for families in need, ensuring children can enjoy the magic of receiving a gift.

Purchasing Process

1. Obtain a Voucher: Start by getting your Dayra voucher from your local food bank. Each family is eligible to receive up to two vouchers per round of distribution.
2. Check Release Dates: Visit our website to find out when new toys will be available. We regularly update our toy release schedule.
3. Select a Toy: On the release date, browse our selection of toys. Choose your favorite toy and add it to your cart.
4. Checkout: Proceed to checkout and enter your voucher number to redeem your toy.
5. Order Confirmation: Congratulations! You’ve successfully completed the purchasing process. You will receive an order confirmation and details about the pickup.

Pickup Process

1. Pickup Notification: Once your order is processed, you will receive a notification about when and where to pick up your toy.
2. Collect Your Toy: Visit the specified food bank location to collect your toy within two weeks from the date of order confirmation.

Rules

1. Voucher Limitation: Each family is eligible to receive a maximum of two vouchers per distribution round.
2. Toys/Gifts Limitation: Each family is eligible to receive a maximum of two toys/gifts per distribution round, intended only for different children. Families are eligible to participate in two consecutive rounds only if they have children who could not participate in the previous round; children who received toys in previous rounds in the previous 6-months are not eligible and can participate in future rounds. This rule is in place to spread the joy to as many families as possible.
3. Age Requirement: Our gifts are specifically intended for children aged up to 12 years old.
4. Geographical Limitation: Dayra currently serves foodbanks which are in partnership with Dayra and only within Canada.
5. Voucher Usage: Vouchers are non-transferable and must be used by the families to whom they are issued.
6. Distribution Management: Registration for the program, along with voucher and gift distribution, are exclusively managed by our partner food banks.
7. Warranty and Maintenance: The warranty and maintenance services for the gifts are provided directly by the manufacturers. Detailed information about the manufacturer and warranty terms will be included on the product page of each gift.

Media and Promotional Rights

Dayra maintains the right to take photographs and record videos during the voucher distribution, gift distribution, and any other processes or events associated with the Dayra Program. By participating in the program, you agree that these images and videos may be used by Dayra and its holding company for promotional purposes across all media channels.

These promotional activities help us to share the impact of our program with a wider audience and to secure ongoing support for future initiatives. It also allows us to highlight the crucial work of our partner food banks and the joy these gifts bring to children and their families.
